Francesco Albanese，1997年即已是欧洲兽医皮肤病学会成员（ESVD，European Society of Veterinary Dermatology），同时也是意大利兽医皮肤病学会（SIDEV，Società Italiana di Dermatologia Veterinaria）的创始会员之一，目前担任该学会的理事职务。他是多部国内外出版物以及关于皮肤病学和皮肤细胞学的书籍或书籍章节的作者。他的著作《犬猫皮肤细胞学：皮肤病变细胞学解读的全面图解指南》（Canine and Feline Skin Cytology; A Comprehensive and Illustrated Guide to the Interpretation of Skin Lesions via Cytological Examination），由Springer出版，是目前全球皮肤病细胞学领域的权威参考书。
